How do you take care of your mental health?

I see a psychologist monthly as well as a psychiatrist for my medication. Having a team of professionals is so important to keep accountable for my mental health and keep myself on track.

Why do you think it's important we talk about mental health?

Because it’s so commonly experienced, we shouldn’t be ashamed of it. If we talk about it, then it becomes normalised and people can understand themselves better and know how to get the help they need.

Watching the sunset from anywhere near water

Favourite quote, song lyric or mantra?

In all things, there is HOPE.

A message to someone struggling?

Keep fighting, even though it doesn’t look or feel like it will improve, it will. You are loved, valued and deserve to be here.

If you could have 'a moment with' your younger self what would you say to them?

I know it’s so rough at the moment, but just know that one day you’ll leave that place and those people who treated you wrongly and you’ll feel happy again and be surrounded by people who love you for who you are.
