My name is Amelie, I am a 17 year old girl from New Zealand and I have suffered with mental illness for a lot of my life. I struggle with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Depression and Anxiety. I have a business called Little Joys by Amelie. I have used my love for art and design, to create a range of products to help people who are struggling with mental health issues. Creating this business has given me a reason to keep fighting, and it brings me so much joy that I am also helping others with mental illness.
My goal is to grow my social media platforms using my business, so I can advocate and spread awareness about mental health issues. Jazz and Gen are honestly my biggest inspirations, and they have helped me more than they know. This is why I am donating a percentage of my profit for some of my products to Voices of Hope. I’m so grateful I can donate to this incredible charity they founded, because they are really making a big difference in this world, and little me would’ve loved to hear about more charities like this.
