Eating disorders affect one’s relationship with food, exercise, physical and mental health, and more. They can lead to serious, and potentially life-threatening, health problems. Eating disorders include conditions such as anorexia nervosa, ARFID, binge eating disorder, bulimia nervosa, diabulimia, orthorexia nervosa, OSFED, and pica.
Eating disorders are a group of some of the most fatal mental health conditions and can impact anyone. While as a side effect, they can impact one’s physical appearance and weight, they are mental illnesses that can cause severe and life-threatening complications.
