Those dreaded thoughts are there… again! Why won’t they stop? You don’t know. But what you do know is that you’ve battled them in the past and defeated them. You can do that again! You will fight the battle and WIN! Just keep going.
Some things that help me are looking up some positive quotes, they always make me feel better! I also like to do stuff that will help pass time quickly and make me feel good too. This can be things like colouring, showering, doing my hair, playing a game with someone, or listening to music (try some feel-good songs like ‘Brave’ by Sara Bareilles or ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’ by Justin Timberlake).
Sometimes doing something like sudoku, a word search, dot-to-dot, codebreaker, or crossword can help. It gets your brain going and gives you a great distraction. If you don’t have any, then they’ve got some cheap ones at places like Kmart and The Warehouse!
Whatever you choose to do, make it positive. Maybe try one of the things I mentioned or maybe do one of your own. Life is full of choices. You have the option to pick the right choices that will get you further in life. I encourage you to pick the good ones!
