One Bite at a Time

Lately, life’s been pretty overwhelming and stressful. Getting up has been so hard! Amongst the battles to fight myself to get up, I try to set myself one goal to accomplish each day. Whether that be tidying, doing a bit of cleaning, showering, cleaning my teeth or even just eating something nutritious. Setting small, achievable goals each day helps me have a sense of, “I’ve done this today. I have succeeded.” 

We just have to keep telling ourselves to take life one bite at a time. Tackle one thing at a time. If that’s only eating something, good on you. You succeeded. You did it. You can conquer another task tomorrow.
