Life is like a clay pot lesson. I knead the clay to make sure there aren’t air bubbles and then place it on the pottery wheel, applying just the right amount of pressure to create my clay pot.
Now, I face a choice: I could pull the walls upwards and create a tall clay pot like a vase, or I could press down to create a circular clay pot like a bowl. No matter what, I’ll always have to keep applying even pressure. This process mirrors the choices we make in life. Every decision we make, good or bad, molds us into the person we were, are, and will be.
A wise person once told me, “It’s not only the best choices that make us who we are but the worst ones and the in-between ones too.” We are all learning and growing and evolving. So, make a choice! If it’s good, cherish it; if it’s bad, learn from it.
